Himachal Trip Expert was founded by a team of passionate local guides who grew up in the valleys and peaks of Himachal Pradesh. We believe the best journeys are led by people who call these mountains home.
Our Mission
We started Himachal Trip Expert with one simple belief: the most authentic travel experiences come from local knowledge. Our founders — Arjun, Priya, and Vikram — grew up in Shimla, Manali, and Spiti respectively, and spent their childhoods exploring trails that most tourists never find.
After years of guiding international trekkers and watching them struggle with generic tour operators, we decided to build something different. A company where every itinerary is crafted by someone who has personally walked every step of it. Where your guide isn't just a professional — they're a neighbour, a storyteller, a friend.
Today we run curated trips across Himachal Pradesh for travellers from around the world. Whether you're chasing the snow at Solang Valley in January or trekking to Kheerganga in July, we're here to make sure every moment feels genuinely Himachali.

Arjun Sharma
Founder & Lead Guide — Shimla
Arjun has been trekking the Shimla and Kinnaur ranges since he was 12. He holds a Himalayan mountaineering certificate and has led over 200 groups.
Priya Thakur
Co-Founder & Cultural Guide — Manali
Priya specialises in cultural and spiritual itineraries. She speaks four local dialects and has deep connections with Tibetan communities in the Kullu Valley.
Vikram Negi
Co-Founder & High-Altitude Expert — Spiti
Vikram grew up in Kaza and knows the Spiti Valley like no one else. He has summited Pin Parbati Pass multiple times and runs our most challenging expeditions.
